The group's main business is State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, a mutual insurance firm that also owns the other State Farm companies. The corporate headquarters are in Bloomington, Illinois.
About Property:
The Fighting Illini are the intercollegiate athletic teams of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The University offers 10 men's and 11 women's varsity sports.
In a 30-year, $60 million agreement announced Monday, the home of the university's basketball teams will be known immediately as State Farm Center. The change comes as the 50-year-old arena undergoes a renovation that is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2016.
