The Bel-Air Film Festival is an annual international film festival celebrating independent film. The festival is the largest community event held throughout Bel-Air, and attracts thousands of movie industry pros and media from around the world. The festival promotes the appreciation and knowledge of cinema. Screenings are held throughout the Bel-Air community and greater Los Angeles. BAFF is dedicated to encouraging underprivileged film school students and is in the process of developing a film school scholarship program to some of the most prestigious film schools. In addition to film, the Bel-Air Film Festival supports and promotes art school programs throughout Los Angeles County. BAFF includes opening and closing night galas, an education series of film panels, a special red carpet event night recognizing British film hosted by Brits in LA, special red carpet film and comedy night, screenings in private estates, music performances, and networking with some of the top industry pros. Festival winners awarded in a private closing night ceremony. Winners are further assisted with introductions to distribution companies after the event.
