Founded in 1953 in Saint Joseph, Missouri, the company’s name, STP, was derived from “Scientifically Treated Petroleum”.[1] The company entered into the marketplace with one product, STP Oil Treatment.
About Property:
The STP 300 is a NASCAR Nationwide Series race held at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois. It replaces Gateway International Raceway as a part of the 2011 NASCAR Realignment.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – April 13, 2011 – International Speedway Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select Market: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB) (“ISC”) today announced a partnership with STP Brands at seven of its major motorsport facilities including event entitlement positions at Kansas Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway.
