Sweetbay Supermarket is a chain of American supermarkets located entirely in Florida. The first Sweetbay Supermarket to open was in Seminole, Florida, in November 2004. The company is headquartered near Tampa, in unincorporated Hillsborough County, Florida,[2] in the Tampa Bay Area, and was a part of the Belgian Delhaize Group. In May 2013 it was purchased by BI-LO.

The Tampa Bay Rays are a Major League Baseball franchise based in St. Petersburg, Florida. They are currently a member of the American League East division. Since their inception, their home venue has been Tropicana Field. Their current manager is Joe Maddon.

As part of the agreement, Sweetbay will receive signage at Tropicana Field in addition to promotion on Rays television and radio broadcasts. Sweetbay will serve as the "Rays Official Baseball and Softball Headquarters" and will partner with the Rays on a fundraising effort to benefit area youth baseball and softball programs. In addition, parents can sign up their kids for the chance to announce "play ball" from the field prior to a Rays home game through the "Sweetbay Play Ball Kid" contest.
