The South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) operates the public schools in South Bend, Indiana, and is one of the largest school corporations in Indiana, with a total of 34 schools.
The football field renaming is part of a new academic and athletic partnership between the South Bend Community School Corp. and TCU that school administrators say will provide nearly $1.5 million in support during the next decade. Beside field naming rights, the school board agreed to extend its current two-year cash management agreement with TCU to 10 years in a financial deal to benefit academics, athletics, the arts and technology.
