Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a hotel and casino located in unincorporated Placer County in Whitney, California near the city of Lincoln, California, 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Sacramento. It is owned and operated by the United Auburn Indian Community and was opened on June 9, 2003. It was operated by Station Casinos from 2003 to 2010.[1]
The Chinese New Year Festival & Parade is a Chinese culture estival held each February in San Francisco, California. Established in 1917, the San Francisco Chinese Chamber of Commerce's primary cause is to promote and develop Chinatown. The organization strengthens and consolidates its ties with Chinese establishments, promotes Chinese culture, and helps to improve China-US relations. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce not only hosts such successful events as the annual San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade and the Miss Chinatown U.S.A. Pageant, but also supports city-wide urban development projects.
