Founded by Hans Wildorf and Alfred Davis in London, England in 1905 as Wilsdorf and Davis, Rolex moved its base of operations to Geneva, Switzerland in 1919.

The Rugby World Cup is an international rugby union competition organised by the International Rugby Board and held every four years since 1987.
Announced at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco, the seven-year deal is the biggest of its kind for the international federation and will see TUDOR become the Official Timekeeper of Rugby World Cup 2019 and 2023, Women’s Rugby World Cup 2021, Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 and 2022 and the annual World Rugby U20 Championship.
