Formed in 2010 as the successor company to the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, UC Health, the University of Cincinnati’s affiliated health system, generates $1.2 billion in operating revenue. The system includes UC Physicians, the region’s largest multi-specialty physician group with over 650 physicians; University Hospital, the region’s largest hospital and only academic medical center; West Chester Hospital, Cincinnati’s newest hospital; Drake Center, Ohio’s largest specialty long-term acute care hospital; Lindner Center of HOPE, Ohio’s premier mental health hospital; and several affiliated institutes. FC Cincinnati is a soccer club based in Cincinnati, Ohio, that will begin play in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2019. The team will succeed the lower-division team of the same name and was announced on May 29, 2018, when MLS awarded an expansion franchise to Cincinnati.[4] The club's ownership group is led by Carl H. Lindner III.
