Collaborate with corporate, consumer and ICG in-business marketing leads to develop a high quality, commercially successful event sponsorship model for the ICG franchise.
Support all efforts in order to strengthen the ICG brand, reputation, profile and relevance to client segment/target audience through the activation of key sponsorships (globally and regionally) and deliver cost effective, relevant sponsorship solutions
Work in close partnership with Global Branding Sponsorship team to ensure the right sponsorship assets and activation are in place for ICG and its respective businesses
Be responsible for building and leading all elements of the sponsorship program across our existing relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Work closely and collaboratively with internal partners such as marketing, GPA, event teams, legal, compliance, Research, etc.
Manage projects and deliver results across the whole sponsorship value chain (negotiation, strategy, development, delivery and measurement)
Help develop sponsor materials including contracts, proposals, presentations, and reports, while executing partner agreements and managing sponsor presence at events.
Manage the renewal process for current sponsors, including identifying opportunities to grow partnerships
Monitor sponsorship trends and pro-actively identify new business opportunities
Understand the brand and business objectives to create effective, innovative and relevant sponsorship activation measures
Required Skills
Experience of working in cross-departmental teams or different structures to deliver projects.
Demonstrable understanding of the charitable sector ideal but not critical.
Excellent interpersonal communications skills, including tact and assertiveness, and the ability to communicate at all levels in a complex environment.
Ability to work with senior contacts and co-ordinate the activities of staff and contributors at all levels both internally and externally.
Play an active consulting role in order to keep the business groups aligned in all sponsorship matters
Expertise:
Minimum of 10 years of directly related work experience; bachelor's degree required
Experience in marketing, advertising, communications and brand strategy
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to develop and execute impactful communications and marketing plans
Strong writing and presentation skills; presence and ability to clearly communicate with diverse audiences and professionals at all levels
