ArtWalk San Diego is a three part well-established art show hosted throughout San Diego County. ArtWalk in Little Italy brings more than 350 artists, dozens of musical performances, more than 100,000 affluent, well-educated attendees to enjoy 17 blocks full of art on display and available for purchase. The two-day fine art festival is well-known for bringing together all facets of the arts, while promoting the opportunity for individuals to fall in love with original pieces of art. This free event features thousands of pieces of artwork created by artists from California, neighboring states, and Mexico. The juried show offers a wide range of fine visual and performing art including painting, sculpture, glasswork, photography, select jewelry, and other artisan work. In August, our organization offers a fine art festival called ArtWalk Liberty Station. This art event takes place in a beautiful grassy park at San Diego's flagship arts and culture district and welcomes 30,000 art lovers to the two day event. ArtWalk Liberty Station also hosts a VIP Preview pARTy on the Friday evening, before the main weekend event. This allows guests the opportunity to get the first look at the art and meet and greet with the artists, all while enjoying great food, drinks, signature cocktails and amazing live music. In September, ArtWalk hosts our newest fine art show in Carlsbad. The event takes place overlooking the beautiful flower fields of Carlsbad with an ocean view and sees 20,000 attendees over the two days. All shows also showcase many of San Diego's arts-oriented non-profits including visual and performing arts groups, theatres, and arts education groups. ArtWalk co-founded ARTREACH in 2007, a nonprofit education program that delivers art education to Title One schools throughout the county, at low or no cost.
