Earlier this year, a Veteran who served for decades, and who happens to be our founder's father in law, told her a fascinating story about one of his military adventures. She was so intrigued and asked him why he didn’t talk about his experiences more often. He sadly replied that he’s found most people do not want to listen. After asking many other Veterans if they felt the same way, unfortunately every single one agreed. As a result, this project was birthed to ensure Veterans know their stories are welcomed AND valued. They served. The least we can do is listen.
