The 12th Annual Boston Design Week takes place April 22-May 4, 2025, featuring 70+ events citywide, including the Design Week Awards event, Friday, May 2nd. This 12-day arts and design festival offers renowned guest speakers, panel discussions, exhibitions, and more hosted by businesses, universities, museums, non-profit organizations, and professional societies. Repeat event hosts include: American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Boston Architectural College, Boston Athenaeum, Boston Design Center, Fenway Cultural Alliance, International Furnishings and Design (IFDA), Interior Design Society NE, Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), School of Fashion Design, SoWa Art + Design Center, and dozens of others. Most events are free of charge with registration. In addition to reaching a wide audience of design professionals, all events are open to the public. Boston Design Week enjoys national and international recognition through its membership in World Design Weeks, a coalition of 40+ design festivals globally.
