Founded in 2014, BaiLu NYC is a registered non-governmental, non-religious, non-profit organization that fosters discourse on trending topics of modern society and traditional culture. The initiative of BaiLu NYC is to encourage independent thought among the nucleus of society, the well-educated populace. Today, the organization has over one thousand members.

BaiLu NYC cultivates a dynamic community of Chinese people who live in the Greater New York area. The group encourages members to be open-minded, to exchange opinions, and to absorb knowledge from diverse fields, primarily through in-person, conversational events held weekly in Manhattan. Bailu Forum, BaiLu Talk, and BaiLu Art gatherings have attracted thousands of millennials who are eager to engage their minds and hearts.

BaiLu NYC's mission is to encourage critical thinking among young Chinese people; To inspire them to be aware of social issues and dedicate themselves to social services.
