BarMUN is a collegiate Model United Nations (MUN) conference that hosts over 400 student delegates from across the country in partnership with 200 student volunteers from Boston University who help run the conference. Each year, BarMUN strives to create an engaging environment to promote lively debate about worldly matters from various time frames. BarMUN’s mission statement, “Professionalism, Inspiration, Passion,” encapsulates our goals. We aim to utilize the debate structure to lay an educational framework to discuss real-world issues and approach tangible solutions. Through these conversations, we highlight minority voices to illuminate the impact of government, corporate, or non-profit groups on all parties.
