For the ninth consecutive year, Billboard's special feature Women in Music identifies the top women of the year, as selected by Billboard. It recognizes women executives who drive our business forward with their vision, dedication and hard work. Winners are honored at the 2013 Billboard Women in Music event on Dec. 10 in New York City sponsored by COVERGIRL and City National Bank. The award honors the achievements of a trailblazing female recording artist over the past 12 months, and acknowledges her overall success in the music business and her leadership in embracing the changing industry.
