Blackpool Football Club, nicknamed "The Seasiders" and "The Tangerines," is a professional English football club based in the seaside resort of Blackpool, Lancashire. Founded in 1887, the club plays at Bloomfield Road (capacity ~16,500) and competes in EFL League One, the third tier of English football. Known for their distinctive tangerine kit worn since 1923, Blackpool's greatest moment came in the 1953 "Matthews Final," when they won the FA Cup 4–3 over Bolton Wanderers. The club is the only Lancashire side to win a European trophy (1971 Anglo-Italian Cup) and reached the Premier League in 2010. Owned by Blackpool-born businessman Simon Sadler since 2019.
