BlueTIDE is an annual ocean technology and dual-use innovation event hosted by Polaris Tech Bridge (formerly 401 Tech Bridge) in collaboration with the U.S. Navy and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport. Held in Newport, Rhode Island, BlueTIDE brings together defense stakeholders, industry leaders, investors, and innovators for live, in-water demonstrations of cutting-edge maritime and autonomous technologies under real-world operational conditions. Technical focus areas include multi-domain autonomous systems, counter-UxS capabilities, maritime domain awareness, and digital mission environments. The event has been instrumental in helping participating companies secure capital funding and defense contracts. BlueTIDE 2026 expands to a two-day format (August 26–27), with Day 1 featuring mission-driven experimentation at NUWC Newport and Day 2 offering live demonstrations and collaboration at Sail Newport.
