There is a very unique opportunity to partner Catie Munnings who recently took the Motorsport world by storm, winning the 2016 European Rally Championship Ladies title at the age of 17 in only her first year of competition. 2018 is a huge year for Catie as she has just been signed to a top team. Also her talent behind the wheel is replicated on camera and she’s just landed her very own BBC TV series - a young persons “Top Gear” with Catie touring the world trying various vehicles which begins filming shortly.
Rallying is widely regarded as the most exciting and the toughest form of Motorsport, often likened to the Rugby of auto racing. It’s a discipline generally dominated by men but in 2017 Catie showed she can compete with the fastest young guys in Europe, she impressed the right people and has landed a drive with one of the top teams in Europe. Catie is on target to make history.
A young girl competing at high level in the sport of Rallying is rare. None have left a mark since Michelle Mouton in 1982 and Michelle - who is now head of the FIA World Rally Championship sees Catie as a serious contender. It’s fair to say Catie is an inspirational young athlete and she attracts a lot of attention wherever she goes.
2018 will see Catie make a full assault on the European Rally Championship, the prestigious stepping stone for young drivers with eyes on a top seat in the World Rally Championship. She’ll be competing against the best young talent and her team mates are two of the fastest young guys in the sport, her benchmark is as high as her ambition. She competes in the Under 27 junior category which is the scouting ground for the top manufacturer teams in the World Rally Championship.
She is brand Ambassador for Peugeot in the UK and this year will drive with the Peugeot Sport team based in France.
Her passion and gritty determination for her sport along with her ability to speak publicly and shine at any glamorous event have built Catie a super clean cut corporate image; with brand associations such as Cartier, The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year, Vanity Fair and BBC Global news. She can be described as an English rose competing at the top in a tough sport. The next two years for Catie will be huge and we are currently inviting potential partners to discuss how her exciting journey can benefit suitable brands.
