The Center for a Sustainable Coast is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization established in 1997 with a mission of advocating responsible decisions to sustain coastal Gorgia's environment and quality of life. We are supported by a combination of foundation grants and member donations, supporting staffed operations throughout our 25-year history.

Our work consists of a combination of raising public awareness, preparing position statements and commentary submitted to public agencies and media outlets, and as justified, taking legal action that seeks to ensure proper enforcement of environmental laws. The Center has an unparalleled record of published commentary in Georgia media outlets on a range of issues affecting coastal Georgia's natural resources and quality of life. We are currently seeking sponsorship for a public information campaign that begins with an event in Savannah on October 13th, 2022, focusing on climate change and clean energy.
