The Chicago Park District manages over 8,800 acres of green space and more than 600 parks, making it one of the largest municipal park systems in the U.S., offering a wide range of recreational, cultural, and environmental programs for all ages, and overseeing numerous facilities including 27 indoor pools, 50 outdoor pools, and 26 miles of lakefront.
