Dream Streets is a Nashville-based nonprofit that exists to protect and empower people living in distress. We serve primarily minority single mothers and their children living in poverty in the West and North Nashville area. We provide supplemental food and hygiene resources, wraparound services, transitional housing, free mental health counseling, and financial literacy programs. We help feed over 46,000 families in our service areas each year by distributing almost 600,000 pounds of food. We provide over $25,000 worth of counseling services for free annually, and house over 100 individuals and family units per year in our transition housing. read more
