Electrify currently has players, as well as staff, from the UK, Spain, Germany, Sweden and Taiwan competing in the games Call of Duty, CSGO, FIFA, Rainbow Six Siege and Brawlhalla. In 2020 these players have competed in each of the named esports, including placing second in Europe in two continent wide tournaments, taking on the behemoths of Vodafone Giants and Heretics in the Rainbow Six Spain Nationals as well as being streamed live to thousands of viewers to name just a few milestones.
However, arguably the most noticeable acquisition in recent times has been the Rainbow Six roster previously known as Seventh Heaven. With twice weekly matches against teams such as Cloud9 and FNATIC, and viewership often peaking above 20,000 on Twitch across the various Rainbow Six channels, there is no doubt that Electrify is on the way to becoming a name to reckon with, and a household name within the esports industry itself. The players themselves hold large social media followings, including a large presence on both Twitch and YouTube, with significant scope for further growth in the coming years.
These various teams and their respective accomplishments have led to consistent growth on our social media, including nearly 400 thousand impressions in the last 28 days on Twitter, and exciting growth on the Electrify Facebook account. With our repertoire of teams continuing to expand, and exciting plans for the year ahead and beyond, these figures will only continue to grow.
Electrify as a whole is a firm believer in the family ethos. Player testimonies can attest, and myself and my colleagues work tirelessly to ensure that the players get the attention that they deserve, helping to facilitate a sustainable and holistic working environment where the individual is put before their game or performance, esports is after all nothing without the players.
As aforementioned, with exciting plans for the coming years, we are on the search for investors to help us put these plans into action, most notably with the acquisition of an Electrify House for staff and content creators. Initially this would help to provide easier channels of communication between staff and players but would also serve as a hotbed for content creation itself, as well as focussed practice opportunities for our many esports professionals.
