The Furnace Chicken Festival (FCF) is Birmingham’s fastest-growing culinary and cultural celebration, returning for its second year with a bold vision, a bigger footprint, and an anticipated audience of more than 2,000 attendees from across Alabama and the Southeastern region. Hosted at the iconic Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, FCF brings together food lovers, families, music fans, local businesses, and lifestyle enthusiasts for a full-day experience built around flavor, fire, and community connection.

FCF was launched with a simple mission: to create a signature Birmingham event that blends great food, live entertainment, and cultural unity in a way that uplifts the region and supports local vendors. The 2025 debut exceeded expectations, drawing 700+ attendees and capturing the attention of regional partners, media, and community influencers. The 2026 festival builds on that momentum with more vendors, expanded entertainment, dedicated activation zones, and stronger marketing outreach to amplify sponsor visibility before, during, and after the event.
