The GRIOT Gateway is a global movement to raise awareness for the necessity of diversity and inclusion in the Arts and Entertainment Industry
and functions as an incubator that offers mentoring programs, valuable information and much needed access to equal opportunities.

By representing and replicating models of diversity, the GRIOT Gateway aspires to help storytellers connect, share and grow through these experiences.
The GRIOT promotes equality for women and people of color, while striving to connect iconic industry professionals with the next generation of aspiring talent.

We at the GRIOT identified a need and went beyond talking about it. We created the GRIOT Gala, held on Hollywood's biggest night of the year. It is the only inclusive celebration that recognizes the significant contributions and achievements of women and people of color on Oscars Night.

The red carpet, by invitation only Gala is held immediately following the Academy Award in an upscale Beverly Hills location. Since its inaugural year in 2018, The GRIOT Gala has become one of the most sought after Oscar parties and is the first to market post Oscar event to honor women and people of color. Hosted by celebrity talent such as the late Micheal K Williams and Cedric the Entertainer, the GRIOT has honored entertainment legends such as Phylicia Rashad, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Cheech Marin and notables; Billionaire Scion David Steward III, Oscar winner for Hair Love, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Peter Luo for Midway, Crazy Rich Asians, Marshall, Philanthropist Daphna Ziman, to name a few

In commensuration with our past success, we anticipation 2023 to be a monumental success exceeding our reach of over 1 billion media impression to date! We offer our sponsor partners an unique opportunity to support their corporate wide DE&I objectives, multicultural, experimental, digital and social media strategy.
