Founded in 1992, the Housing Partnership, a nonprofit organization in Dover, New Jersey, has been the resource for home buyer education and programs in Northern NJ. Presently, we serve residents of Morris, Bergan, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties. Proudly, in 2023, we assisted over 80 families in moving to their new homes. Assisted working families and first-generation homebuyers in learning how to prepare to buy their first homes and helped with downpayments and other financing to make home purchases affordable. Over 250 households completed our homebuyer education series. An additional 300 households completed online financial fitness workshops that addressed various topics such as understanding credit, family budgeting, and foreclosure basics. We expanded our programming by introducing financial literacy workshops for young adults and teens.

Our achievements and future work heavily rely on the support of our partners from the banking and lending community. Our annual Housing EXPO is on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the County College of Morris in Randolph.
