Jamie Greubel Poser WON THE OLYMPIC BRONZE MEDAL IN BOBSLED AT HER FIRST OLYMPIC GAMES IN SOCHI, Russia in 2014 and since then, has been taking the sport by storm. Jamie truly had a knockout season this past 2016-2017 YEAR! She WON THE OVERALL WORLD CUP CHAMPION TITLE and couldn't have finished on a stronger note when she WON THE GOLD MEDAL AT THE FINAL WORLD CUP OF THE SEASON ON THE PYEONGCHANG OLYMPIC TRACK, which is a strong indicator of the success she is expected to achieve in 2018 (can’t ask for anything better than that!) and with the World Cup season title, SHE HEADS INTO THE OLYMPIC SEASON as #1 IN THE WORLD......

Jamie is extremely smart and sweet, warm and engaging, well-spoken and laser focused with UNWAVERING DETERMINATION. Just as one example of her dedication and determination, Jamie tore her ACL right before her first season as a driver several years ago and they wouldn't clear her to make the US Team, which Jamie was not willing to accept. So, she WORKED THREE JOBS in Lake Placid and self-funded a trip to Europe so she could learn the tracks as well as the other drivers and not lose precious time, which would have put her at a major competitive disadvantage. The rest is history. .....

The really EXTRA SPECIAL piece about this upcoming Olympic Games for Jamie is that her little sister, Elizabeth, was adopted from South Korea as a baby. When it was announced that PyeongChang won the 2018 Olympic bid she said she "felt like it was a sign and it was meant to be." Her sister has never seen her compete, and her family hasn't been to Korea since Elizabeth was adopted. .....

When Jamie finished this 2016-2017 World Cup season with a big Gold medal win on the PyeongChang track and the overall World Cup season title, she said it was an incredible experience being there and that she kept thinking about how it truly is so much a part of her life and her family’s life that she really didn't know about, so the 2018 Games is extra special and meaningful to Jamie. HER DREAM IS TO BE ABLE TO BRING HER SISTER AND FAMILY TO KOREA TO WATCH HER COMPETE AT THE 2018 OLYMPICS THIS FEBRUARY (AND OF COURSE WIN ANOTHER MEDAL). Until then, she will be TRAINING HARD, STOPPING AT NOTHING AS SHE GEARS UP FOR the World Cup season this fall and the 2018 Olympic Games! .....

A native of the Philadelphia, PA/Princeton, NJ area, Jamie is married to German Olympic Bobsledder Christian Poser. She graduated with a B.S. from Cornell University and has Master’s Degree in Education. ......
