The Madam C.J. Walker Annual Luncheon is a semi-formal awards event celebrating diverse entrepreneurship and leadership. From CEOs of large corporations to technology start ups, women of the Bay Area continue to make strides in every industry. The Madam C.J. Walker Luncheon, our key fundraising event, has grown to over 1300 guests from the corporate, civic, and private sectors. The event highlights Northern California women whom exceed expectations and deliver innovation, ignite social responsibility, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment within their companies and communities. Our annual awards benefit is aligned with the mission of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, an organization with a 32 year history and chapters worldwide. This powerful event brings light to the contributions that African American women make in their communities. The event itself helps to foster and build relationships with community business partners and community stakeholders to develop a diverse workforce, discuss barriers to success and discover resources to build stronger communities.
