We are the Midwest Forge Fastpitch, a nonprofit travel softball program. Why the name “Midwest Forge Fastpitch”? Being founded in the southeast side of Chicago/NWI area, our neighborhood is the heart of the steel industry. We wanted to represent what our neighborhood is known for, the blue collar steel industry. As far as the meaning “Forge” forging is the act of taking steel, putting pressure and force to remove its impurities to transform it to its strongest form. That’s what our goal is with our team. Your support is a critical part of helping us fulfill our mission to help these young women develop strong character, self-confidence, and receive quality instruction and skill development to prepare each player for the next level. Just like forging steel we want to create the strongest team of young ladies when put under that pressure of the game. Our program relies solely on registration fees from our parents of the players accepted into the team, as well as other sponsors to help in aiding the costs incurred for such a travel program. We will be scheduling local softball tournaments, regional tournaments, as well as out of state tournaments throughout the Midwest area. In order to make this happen, we are asking for your help. Sponsoring our team is not only a great way to get involved with the community; it’s also an amazing form of marketing for your business! Your business will have branding in front of hundreds of people and generate exposure. Our success comes largely in part from the generosity provided through sponsorships and donations as we receive no funds from any municipality.
