RiNo (River North) Art District is a nonprofit arts organization in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to supporting artists, creative businesses, and community through arts and cultural programming. Founded in 2005 as a grassroots effort led by artists, makers, and neighbors, the district transformed a former industrial area of warehouses and factories into one of Denver’s most vibrant creative neighborhoods—known for its colorful street art murals, galleries, working studios, craft breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and boutique hotels. RiNo spans the historic neighborhoods of Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Five Points, and Cole. It is a Certified Colorado Creative District (certified by the state in 2014) and a Registered Neighborhood Organization with the City and County of Denver. The organization runs signature programming including monthly First Friday art events, the First Friday Festivals at ArtPark, and the Brilliant RiNo summer solstice celebration, alongside public art programs, artist support, and community partnerships with the RiNo Business Improvement District (BID) and General Improvement District (GID).
