A CRITERIUM IS A HUGE STREET PARTY WITH A BIKE RACE!

The course will be around the Granary District with the start/finish in front of Industry SLC. Expo and beer garden area will be in front of and to the south of Industry.

Sugarhouse Course
A 1.4-mile look around the interior of Sugarhouse Park provides for a great family spectacle throughout the day. The course includes 65 ft of climbing per lap.

As a result, events are popping up all over the US. A Criterium or “crit”, is a bike race consisting of several laps around a closed circuit. As this type of racing is much shorter than traditional road events, the crit offers high speeds and more intensity. This has made it the fan-favorite to watch. The Salt Lake Criterium will offer racing for two days on closed
courses in the Granary District and Sugarhouse Park. There will be an event expo area and an open beer garden for spectators to watch the racers speed past restaurants and shops along the course. Your brand will be communicated months in advance as the series starts on April 9th. Your brand will also have activation throughout both days at the event in the expo area and along the course.
