StocktonCon was founded in 2012 with the first event being held at University of the Pacific. It was clear that the San Joaquin Valley was excited about the convention because it outgrew the venue the first year! The convention was moved to Stockton Arena in 2013 and became a full two-day convention in 2014 featuring artists, vendors, special guests, cosplay, costume contests, live wrestling and so much more! Guests also have the added bonus that children 12 and under are free!

With the success of StocktonCon, the event organizer expanded the convention to a one day StocktonCon Winter show at Stockton Arena, and multiple conventions a year at the Lodi Grape Festival grounds.

Average attendance:
StocktonCon: 15,000
StocktonCon Winter: 5,000
Lodi Comic Con: 3,000
