The Hurricane Network is a New York City based independent forecasting service that circulates custom forecast reports and visualizations to over 70,000 people per year along the Gulf and U.S. East coast. The Hurricane Network supplies viewers with updated forecast and hazard messages in a manner that is rarely seen on the internet and that is personalized messaging by region. During the extremes of the 2019 and recently 2020 hurricane season, our forecast reports on social media were reaching up to more than 820,000 views country-wide.

Besides forecasting, The Hurricane Network also provides disaster relief funding to individuals impacted by disasters across the United States, we have dispersed more than $6.5k to people impacted by the COVID disaster in just two months.
