The Toronto Argonauts are a professional Canadian football team based in Toronto, Ontario representing the Toronto Metropolitan area. The Argonauts are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League. The franchise was founded in 1873, and is the oldest existing professional sports teams in North America, under its current name. The Chicago Cubs and the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball are older, but both teams have changed their name more than once.
