Toughman Contest, one of the most exciting combat sporting brands of all time, returns to the limelight with a professional version of its storied single elimination tournament. The new series, Toughman Pro, features eight (8) professional boxers in a free-for-all and winner take all Battle Royale tournament. The fighters are randomly matched via a drawing of lots. All Toughman Pro events are 100% licensed and fully sanctioned by the applicable State Athletic Commission or Boxing Commission, use standard boxing rules and regulations as well as proprietary Toughman rules to ensure maximum safety and optimal excitement. All combatants are licensed pro boxers and will face off in a total of seven tournament bouts to a decision (four quarterfinals, two semis and the Finale) to determine a winner—The Toughman. All fights are completed in one exciting night!

The Genesis Episode of Toughman Prois billed A Night of the Heaviesbecause the event will feature heavyweight fighters (200+ lbs boxers). Toughman Pro will be broadcasted live on pay-per-view in all wired homes [all seven major cable networks] in the United States as well as in Canada and Mexico. Toughman Pro will be syndicated internationally, worldwide as feasible. Toughman Contest’s founder, the legendary Art Dore, will be ringside in his glory as the Master of Ceremony.

Toughen Pro reintroduces to the United States the “Grand Prix” or “Battle Royale” tournament format still popular used in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and the Commonwealth. Fighters are dual-matched in an old-fashioned single-elimination tournament or Battle Royale. The winner gets a grand prize (grand prix) of $10,000.00 for young prospects and up to $1 Million for Championship events.
