The Veritex Bank Championship, which is a new PGA Korn Ferry Tour event will take place at the Texas Rangers Golf Club April 13-19 in Arlington. The Korn-Ferry Tour is the path for young professional golfers to gain entry onto the PGA Tour. Players from the tour have gone on to win over 500 PGA Tour events and 23 majors. Some iconic players that have played on the Korn Ferry Tour are Jason Day, Bubba Watson, and Justin Thomas. The Korn-Ferry Tour experience is different from the major tour stops in the area by providing a unique opportunity for sponsors, patrons and the community to see tomorrow’s PGA Tour stars up close.

The Veritex Bank Championship will be played at Texas Rangers Golf Club, a newly renovated public facility in Arlington with events scheduled throughout the week. The Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday, April 13th and championship play will take place April 16th – 19th. There will be 156 players competing for a $600,000 purse and we are expecting a crowd of 15,000 spectators throughout the week.
