Wanandaf has performed electrifying cyphers at public spaces, including Town Hall and MG Road, on varied topics including politics, mental health and feminism.
In June, 2019, rappers Nex, Akx, producer Cj, and videographer Karim Poocha shot a small cypher video in Lalbagh. They uploaded it on social media and announced their next performance at Rangoli, MG Road. Defying all expectations, hundreds of rappers and producers turned up. And that is how Wanandaf, a hip hop collective, became a sensation in Bengaluru’s art scene.
At this time we are seeking business partners for annual and event sponsorships for our upcoming shows Meter Down Vol. 3 and Annual Cypher (March 2021 onwards). We are hoping to raise additional funds this year so that we can offer even more events and value added opportunities by collaborating with bigger artists. We have targeted you as a potential sponsor because we feel that our members and our event attendees have the potential to become great business partners with you.
Reasons for Partnering with Wanandaf Hip-Hop:
• The Wanandaf community currently boasts over 100 members and more than 2500 followers on Instagram.
• The members are 90% local artists and cinematographers with a passion to create social media content for your products and deliver performances on a global scale in the music industry.
• Meter Down Vol. 3 follows the success behind sold out shows held at Church Street and Indiranagar socials this year. Attendance ranged from more than 100 attendees at Meter Down Vol. 2 Indiranagar Socials event in February to over 600 views of the teaser video we released for the event online.
• This year will mark our community's first Annual Rap Cypher to be held in May at Cubbon Park featuring artists from all over the world on June 21st,2021 International Music Day.
