Our family's passion is racing hydroplanes. It's been a part of our family heritage for over 40 years. Our boat, Wanna Bee Racing, was one of the top five in the nation for several years. We invite you to join one of America's fastest-growing spectator sports by sponsoring The Wanna Bee for the 2019 racing season and in the process, increase your company’s awareness among at least 8 million enthusiastic racing fans. Wanna Bee Racing, over the years, has received much media exposure and as we continue to grow, with having expanded into the Grand Prix World racing circuit, now includes live media coverage via live streaming on Facebook, local television and newspapers and in race programs. In prior years we received coverage in newspapers, local race programs, the Unlimited Year book (as a top team), and interviews in local news! We have a large 28 ft tow vehicle (billboard) as well as the 26’ Grand Prix boat, also offer our Grand National Hydroplane for smaller race sites. We participate in parades, special events, hand out fliers, and we race with consistency. We are a hard working group that has been together for many years. We take great pride in how we look and present ourselves as individuals and as team players, and in representing our sponsor.
We have a Facebook - Wanna Bee Racing GP52 and an Instagram page, wannabee_racing. We have done displays at the Detroit Auto Rama at Cobo Hall; Michigan International Raceway in Brooklyn, Michigan; and at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle in Detroit.
