The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) is a Division 1 collegiate hockey conference, headquartered in the Twin Cities with members in Minnesota, Alabama, Alaska, Michigan, and Ohio. Founded in 1951, the WCHA has set the standard of tradition and excellence, winning 36 national championships. The WCHA was the first collegiate hockey conference to host its conference tournament at campus sites, selling out both of its first campus championship games. We are continuing to promote a superior level of tradition and excellence as we take on competition nationwide.
