Bupa is an international healthcare group, serving over 14 million customers in over 190 countries. It is a private healthcare company, an alternative to the UK's National Health Service , which is a tax-funded healthcare system.
About Property:
The Tour Down Under is a cycling race in and around Adelaide, South Australia. The race starts on the 3rd Tuesday of January each year and attracts riders worldwide. In 2005, the Tour Down Under was promoted by the Union Cycliste Internationale highest ranking outside Europe. In 2008 the Tour Down Under became the first UCI ProTour in Australia, and the following year it became the inaugural event of the UCI World Ranking calendar.
Bupa has sponsored the UCI World Tour event since 2004 and, under this renewed contract, will continue to do so until at least 2017. The tie-up will see Bupa continue as the naming rights sponsor of the Bupa Challenge Tour recreational race, which is held on the same course on the same day as the professional race.
