Trey Lance (born May 9, 2000) is an American football quarterback who played college football at North Dakota State. As a redshirt freshman in 2019, Lance won the Walter Payton Award and Jerry Rice Award and was named the most valuable player of the 2020 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game. He holds the NCAA record for most passes thrown in a season without an interception, doing so with 287 in 2019.
