Cobo Center, formerly Cobo Hall, is a convention center along Jefferson and Washington avenues in downtown Detroit, Michigan.
In the summer of 2017, after the convention authority hired two firms to assist in identifying a company to sell the naming rights to, Cobo Center management officials said they believed they could get at least $500,000 in annual payments for the naming rights. In 2016, Huntington Bank paid just more than $500,000 a year for the 10-year naming rights to downtown Cleveland's convention center, Crain's Cleveland Business reported.
