Although Volvo was incorporated in 1915 as a subsidiary of AB SKF, a Swedish ball bearing manufacturer, the auto manufacturer considers itself officially founded on 14 April 1927, when the first car, the Volvo ÖV 4 series, affectionately known as "Jakob", rolled out of the factory in Hisingen, Gothenburg.

The Great Escape is an upcoming reality television series on TNT that is scheduled to air on June 24, 2012, at 10:00 pm EST. The competition series, hosted by Rich Eisen, will feature three two-person teams each week dropped "into the middle of their own epic action/adventure movie" and competing for a cash prize.
